Welcome

I would like to express a warm welcome to all Parents, Carers and Students. Choosing which school to go to is a very important decision and represents a significant investment in your future. Post-primary school is a time of great change with many new and exciting opportunities on the horizon. It's a time when you will grow and become the person you are destined to be. At St Mary's College we want all our students to be the very best they can. That is why we believe that 'Every Child Can Learn' and every child can achieve.

Our Catholic faith and values are very important and through this ethos we aim to deliver a school experience that will be the start of a lifelong love of learning. Through high quality teaching, we aim to develop mature, thoughtful, and independent learners who are willing to work hard to achieve their ambitions. We pride ourselves on our exceptional levels of pastoral care, with all our students receiving dedicated support from every member of staff in our school community.

St Mary's College has a track record of success with students leaving us to pursue A Levels, BTEC qualifications, apprenticeships or enter the world of work. Such success is always a result of hard work, and our dedicated staff will be with you every step of the way. Our examination results at GCSE continue to be above the Northern Ireland national average for non-selective schools. We pride ourselves in the fact that when our students leave us, they are mature, thoughtful, and have an appreciation of how to be caring, productive members of their community.

We hope you are excited by what you see here and can see yourself excelling in our school. This website is designed to provide advice and guidance on making this very important decision. Choosing St Mary's College is a decision you will not regret.
